



Jessica Williams is an LA-based painter. Her paintings invent narratives to explore themes of transformation, regeneration, and memory. She works from observations from her immediate environment as well as from photo-based and art historical references. She is interested in the relationship between humanity and nature, remembering and forgetting, desire and dreams.
Recent shows include Global Song, Tang Contemporary Art Hong Kong (2022), Arcadia, As It Stands, Los Angeles; Tunnel of Love, Projet Pangee, Montréal. She is currently artist-in-residence at Hudson House, New York.
